I’m co-founder and CEO of MD.ai. Our mission is to help improve medicine through AI.
I love to build and experiment with deep learning. I also love to build stuff for the web. Check out my library for running trained Keras models in the browser: Keras.js.
I’ve published articles on statistical physics, quantitative biology of cancer, and neural prosthetics. I’m generally extremely fascinated by neuroscience, especially as it relates to information encoding and processing. Some of the strategies evolution has come up with while constrained by the bounds of biology are truly mind-blowing.
I have an MD from Harvard Medical School. I studied engineering at the University of Washington and MIT.
I also occasionally write and produce electronic music.
